Test Engineer

Summary

Join VetsEZ as a remote Medallia Test Engineer supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality and testing technology platforms to enhance the Veteran experience. This role involves developing data models, testing Medallia survey forms, and maintaining ETL processes. Strong experience in data analytics, databases, ETL, data warehousing, and DevOps is required. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 6-12 years of experience in quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with the Medallia platform and Federal Government work.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Have 6-12 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on web-based applications and data validation
• Be proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, JAWS)
• Be skilled in defining internal quality control standards and maintaining reliability programs in line with industry standards and best practices
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Reside within the continental US

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to understand project requirements and develop detailed test plans and test cases for the Medallia platform
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing on Medallia survey forms, feedback mechanisms, and related components to ensure platform performance; Verify the accuracy and completeness of customer feedback data, ensuring alignment with client business requirements
• Identify, report, and resolve defects, inconsistencies, and issues in Medallia survey data collection, reporting, and analysis
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for repetitive and critical test cases to enhance testing efficiency, as well as stay current with Medallia platform enhancements and industry best practices in quality assurance
• Ensure updates to the Medallia platform do not negatively impact existing functionality; Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and processes for audit and reference
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project

Preferred Qualifications

• Have 2+ years of experience working in or with the Federal Government. Knowledge of VA/DHA/HHS practices is a plus
• Have 3+ years of experience with Medallia platform configurations and configuration quality assurance testing
• Have experience integrating customer experience management systems with third-party solutions, such as Salesforce and Qualtrics Platform Configurations
