Summary

Join Turnitin as a Thought Leadership and Executive Communications Senior Manager and develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness. You will oversee all aspects of our Thought Leadership Programs and Executive Communications Initiatives, serving as a strategic thought partner to the company's leadership team. This role requires crafting compelling messaging, managing external communications, and developing and implementing a thought leadership strategy. You will also support strategic planning and execution for all external communications efforts and report results to company leaders and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of related work experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with media outlets. Requirements

  • Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and coming up with appropriate solutions
  • Broad press and social media relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized self-starter with high attention to detail
  • Highly skilled at building relationships with target media outlets and journalists
  • Ability to report results and share deliverables with company leaders, key stakeholders and communications partners/agencies
  • 15+ years of related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling messaging, managing external communications, and ensuring consistent and effective communication aligned with the organization's goals and values
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to our CLT, and help deliver their communications to the company and their individual teams
  • Develop and implement a thought leadership strategy to establish the organization as an industry leader
  • Support strategic planning and execution for all external communications efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the education technology sector
  • BA or BSβ€”or equivalent degree
