Requirements

• BCom degree in Accounting or related field
• Working towards qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Strong academic record, with a focus on accounting and finance courses
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Perform audits and assessments of internal controls
• Assist with general accounting tasks such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as required

Preferred Qualifications

Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is advantageous
