Summary

The job is for a SME, Trainer, & Module Developer for Accounting with Administrative/Business Support VAs. The role involves conducting assessments, facilitating training, developing modules and content, and creating engaging learning activities. The position requires 10-20 hours per week, between 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

Experience in any of these applications/software: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Accounting-specific Applications (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, SAGE, TurboTax, H&R Block, etc), Google Applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Form, Google Slide, etc), cloud services, any CRM, any project management application

Responsibilities

  • Conducts 1:1 assessment/review of candidates
  • Decides if the candidate is fit for the job and or fit to be endorsed to client/s
  • Enters detailed notes in Breezy
  • Coordinates with other departments in a timely manner
  • Facilitates training
  • Develops modules depending on the need
  • Develops training content on text, presentations, and videos
  • Conducts 1:1 skills assessment
  • Provides support to the Customer Support team during the Nesting period as needed
  • Identifies competency and skill gaps
  • Calibrates with team on skills assessment
  • Calibrates with the team on training development needs
  • Generate scorecards
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s training needs
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
  • Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc)
  • Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in adult learning, hiring and recruitment a plus
  • Experience creating, documenting, and effectively improving Standard Operating Procedures
