Transformation Consultant, Developer Experience

Summary

Join Valiantys as a Transformation Consultant and play a key role in delivering DevEx transformation services. Reporting to the Transformation Consulting Director, you will execute initiatives enhancing developer productivity and streamlining software delivery. Collaborate with clients to assess, design, and implement DevEx improvements, leveraging Atlassian tools and adjacent technologies. Contribute to presales, shaping solutions aligning with client needs and Valiantys' strategy. Work closely with internal teams, develop reusable assets, and stay updated on industry trends. This remote-option role requires experience in DevEx and software development transformation, familiarity with Atlassian tools, and strong cross-functional team collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Have studied computer science, information science/technology
• Have a proven track record in DevEx and software development transformation
• Be familiar with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Compass, etc.) and adjacent DevOps platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, ...)
• Demonstrate a strong ability to work across cross-functional teams and transformation practices to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Be fluent/native in English

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DevEx solutions, leveraging the Atlassian ecosystem and adjacent technologies
• Support transformation project
• Integrate AI-driven solutions and automation to enhance efficiency in software development processes
• Ensure transformation solutions align with governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Participate in presales engagements
• Conduct discovery sessions, assessments, and proof-of-value engagements
• Collaborate with sales and marketing
• Engage with senior stakeholders, development teams, and IT leadership to align transformation initiatives with business goals
• Work closely with Transformation Consulting Directors and other internal teams
• Contribute to the development of reusable assets, playbooks, and accelerators that enhance delivery efficiency
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developer productivity trends, DevOps methodologies, AI-powered engineering, and platform engineering practices
• Act as a trusted advisor on Atlassian-powered transformation projects
