Summary
Join Wakam's Operations France & Europe team as a Transition Programs Manager to oversee terminated insurance programs across France and Europe. Manage and secure run-off accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for operational follow-up with partners. Assess operational risks, define and implement post-termination workflows, and ensure partners adhere to contractual obligations. Identify and address operational issues, create performance reports, and lead steering committees. Contribute to formalizing and improving run-off processes, including digitalizing oversight and identifying automation opportunities. This role requires a Master's degree, 4β7 years of project management or auditing experience (with insurance industry experience), strong attention to detail, solid project management skills, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- You have a Masterβs degree from a business school or university, with a focus in management, finance, or insurance
- 4β7 years of experience as a Project Manager or Auditor , with at least one role related to the insurance industry
- A strong attention to detail, a curious mindset, and the ability to explore root causes and propose smart, pragmatic solutions
- Solid project management skills , allowing you to handle multiple priorities in parallel
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Full fluency in English ; fluency in French is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assessing the operational risks associated with terminated programs, in collaboration with Actuarial, Reserving, Claims, Finance, and Partner Oversight teams
- Defining and implementing post-termination workflows or transfer models tailored to each product and country
- Ensuring partners and TPAs adhere to contractual obligations on all run-off programs
- Identifying operational issues, initiating corrective actions, and tracking remediation plans
- Creating performance reports and leading steering committees with partners and TPAs
- Formalising and improving our run-off process: reducing the number of active TPAs, documenting procedures, implementing new controls, and designing a clear RACI
- Digitalising run-off oversight by identifying alerts and automation opportunities in coordination with the IT team
