This full-time, remote contractor position (Asia Time Zone) offers an attractive, performance-driven compensation package. You will handle the end-to-end booking process for dive holidays, advising customers via chat, email, and phone, interacting with suppliers, and providing post-booking support. The ideal candidate is an experienced, globally-traveled scuba diver with a strong sales background and excellent communication skills. Success requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment and working well remotely.

Requirements

  • Be an active diver who has dived around the world (ideally hundreds of dives in many different countries) and loves to talk about diving
  • Have a strong background in direct, commission-based sales with a proven track record
  • Be an entrepreneurial and 'hungry', 'hunter type' sales person who loves to interact with the customer and gets a kick out of closing a sale and is driven to succeed, ideally you have worked in similar sales roles before
  • Have a team mentality and be ready to support other team members when needed
  • Have a positive attitude and outlook on life
  • Be a digital native and very comfortable navigating multiple programs and windows while multitasking
  • Work well with a team across a variety of time zones, and communicate well in a remote meeting environment
  • Have a high degree of ownership and not like to leave loose ends
  • Be a proven self-starter with a go-getter attitude
  • Be able to multitask/prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Be looking for a career (not just a job)
  • Be independent and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Be customer-centric – always looking for the best for the customer
  • Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one additional European main language
  • Be ethical and professional with high attention to detail
  • Be open and willing to learn

Responsibilities

  • Handle the end-to-end booking process for customers
  • Answer customer questions and advise them through chat, email, and phone
  • Interact with suppliers to get answers to open questions and confirm bookings
  • Drive customers to final booking
  • Provide further post-booking customer support as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Have a background in a travel agency/dive travel agency
