Summary

Join Platform Science as a Treasury Analyst and facilitate daily treasury operations, manage the organization’s financial activities, and support risk management processes. This crucial role assists with global cash management, providing accurate cash reporting, managing bank structures, and forecasting cash needs. You will monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position, manage cash flow, and administer the ACH program. Responsibilities include preparing month-end reconciliations, producing cash position reports, developing and monitoring bank fees, and supporting audits. Collaboration with business units for cash forecasting and recommending solutions to strengthen operational controls are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Accounting or Finance experience
  • 3-5 years of Treasury experience that includes significant experience in cash management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining positive banking relationships with depository banks
  • Can work both independently and within a team setting
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, effective planning and priority setting, detail-oriented, collaborative, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with various banking platforms such as Wells Fargo Vantage, Bank of America CashPro, ScotiaConnect, and JPM Access
  • Understanding of complex transactions, banking industry, bank products, foreign exchange, finance and treasury principles, and proficiency in accounting
  • Strong skills and significant experience in using: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, various banking platforms, and a TMS

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments and optimize short-term borrowing or investments
  • Manage cash flow, income, liability obligations, and assets
  • Administer the ACH program and pool cash from all secondary bank accounts as necessary
  • Prepare and adhere to month-end cut-off schedules for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts and related journal entries
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the global cash position
  • Develop and monitor bank fees and maintain positive banking relationships
  • Provide support for external and internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work with business units to prepare weekly cash forecasts and projection models, identifying and mitigating forecasting variances
  • Support various corporate functions such as accounting, tax, and financial planning in relation to Treasury transactions
  • Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices
  • Assist with presentation materials for senior management or the Board of Directors as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA and/or CTP, CPA, CFA
  • Familiarity with using Trovata (JPM Treasury Workstation)
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and interpreting account analysis statements and making recommendations on how to potentially optimize bank fees and earnings credits
  • Prior experience in assisting with the implementation of a TMS is a plus
