Business Unit Controller Specialist

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support business leaders by providing strategic financial insights, ensuring reporting accuracy, and building forecasts and budgets. You will monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and optimize the cost of funding. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, relevant experience in financial analysis within the fintech or financial services sector, and strong financial modeling skills. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the fintech or financial services sector or Investmenk banking
• Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other financial software
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in the Brazilian Financial market (essential)
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw insightful conclusions
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of long-term financial plans
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues across different departments

Responsibilities

• Support business leaders by providing Financial Strategic insights
• Ensuring financial (Full Financial Statements - FS) reporting accuracy
• Build FS forecasts / budgets aligned with Sr management strategic guidance
• Monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and support decision-making to enhance profitability and efficiency
• Monitor and optimize the Cost of Funding, working closely with Treasury and Finance teams
• Develop financial models to evaluate revenue streams, profitability, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Strategy teams to improve models and unit economics
• Track and report key financial KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Work with the Consolidation teams during budget season ensuring accurate financial planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Portuguese and English, Spanish would be a plus
• Passion for Fintech: A strong interest in the fintech industry and a desire to contribute to its growth
