Summary

Join our team as a Treasury Associate and support the Company's objectives for managing its liquidity position. The successful candidate will analyze operational cash flows, prepare analysis, execute treasury actions, and reconcile treasury activity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1-3 years of experience in Accounting/Treasury or the equivalent combination of education and experien
• Strong aptitude for systems and advanced Excel skills
• Follows established procedures and policies to ensure consistency and meets audit and internal control requirements
• Effective time management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to act as an agent of change (questioning/rethinking processes, identifying opportunities to streamline activities)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and review all operational cash flows for the organization
• Prepare analysis evaluating need to access credit lines or invest surplus funds
• Ensure the accurate execution of the company's business transactions through its treasury and banking systems. Prepare supporting schedules as required
• Perform the daily administration of bank accounts, investments, and/or debt. Provide related reporting of account activity and balances
• Monitor current interest rates and analyze the impact of changes on the deposit accounts
• Identify proper approval flow for transactions, initiate domestic and international electronic funds transfer for settlement of obligations, and approve transactions in banking systems
• Analyze fees associated with banking transactions and reconcile to bank reports
• Assist in preparing the organization's treasury financial reports, including debt compliance documents
• Develop and maintain all supporting documentation and evidence of internal controls for recorded transactions
• Assist with required audits including coordination of requests and preparation of schedules
• Maintain internal auditing practices and recommends more efficient methods of controls
• Reconcile daily and month-end schedules and statements
• Document treasury procedures and maintains appropriate detail in coordination with treasury responsibilities and initiatives
• Prepare analysis to support month-end accruals
• Assist with the preparation of weekly payment runs
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
• Maintain master listing of internal vendors and assist with set up of new vendors
• Assist with managing accounts payable requests during peak times
