UI/UX Designer

Summary

Join our team as a Part-Time UI/UX Designer (20 hours/week)! We are looking for a talented designer to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our healthcare platform. The ideal candidate will have experience designing user-centered interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional, keeping in mind the specific needs of healthcare users. You will design and implement user interfaces, create wireframes and prototypes, collaborate with developers, conduct user research, and ensure brand consistency. A strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design experience is required. This is a part-time position with an international NGO focused on using technology to improve global healthcare.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience collaborating with development teams
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces that prioritize usability and accessibility
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows based on project requirements
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration
• Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs
