US Sales Tax Accountant

Summary

TaxValet is a fast-growing remote company that eliminates the hassle and stress of sales tax for e-commerce and software companies. They are looking for a Remote Sales Tax Accountant to help clients with sales tax filings, monitor tax collection variances, resolve time-critical issues, assist with special client projects, and be the primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of accounting experience, is comfortable with learning and using new technology, and has high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• At least 2 year of Accounting experience
• CPA license preferred
• Experience working for The Big Four accounting firms (preferred)
• Positive references from past supervisors
• US tax experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit sales tax filings
• Monitor clients' tax collection variances
• Provide assistance to resolve time-critical issues
• Assist with special client projects
• Internal documentation, workflows, and processes
• Be the primary point of contact for your clients
• Learn New Skills

Benefits

• Monthly flat salary range (depending on experience) - 92,243php - 94,662php
