Requirements
- Be ready to learn and grow professionally, and want a career (not just a job)
- Have strong preference for experience in tax auditing, tax consultancy, or tax advisory
- Have experience working with project management and detailed analysis and research
- Provide positive references from past supervisors
- Possess high attention-to-detail and be a perfectionist

- Be able to put someone at ease who is stressed out and anxious
- Be able to set clear boundaries and expectations with clients and follow up to ensure tasks are completed

- Enjoy bringing order and clarity to complex and chaotic situations
Responsibilities
- Manage changes to existing client accounts in areas such as annual nexus reviews, application for new permits, permit closure requests, offboarding, tax settings, and new sales channels
- Support existing clients and their Sales Tax Accountants with issues related to tax collection settings, new platforms, new permits, permit closures, and offboarding
- Analyze economic and other presence factors to determine changes in existing clients' sales tax nexus obligations annually
- Work closely with the 2nd Point of Contact Onboarding Specialist to review and present nexus results to the client
- Update and test tax collection settings on sales platforms to ensure clients are collecting sales tax correctly
- Support clients offboarding from TaxValet, managing permit closure information, final billings, paperwork, and client removal from TaxValet's systems
- Serve as the first contact for existing clients needing support in areas such as annual nexus reviews, permit applications, permit closures, offboarding, tax settings, and new sales channels
- Be the primary point of contact for billing-related changes or issues for all clients
- Work with the Onboarding Team to identify and implement improvements to project workflow for existing clients

Have sales tax experience

- Target compensation 24,666 monthly ZAR commensurate with experience
