Summary

Join MetroStar as a UX Designer and be part of an agile scrum team supporting a federal agency's web application portfolio. Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to create and refine designs based on business requirements. Participate in all agile ceremonies, create mockups and designs, attend meetings, and participate in technical and requirements refinement meetings. You will need 2-5 years of experience in leading digital experiences, using design tools, conducting user research, and working in agile scrum teams. Familiarity with the Atlassian suite and the ability to obtain DHS Suitability are also required. The target salary is $110,000-$151,000, and additional compensation may be available. Requirements

  • Possess 2-5 yearsโ€™ experience leading transformative digital experiences
  • Have 2-5 yearsโ€™ experience using Adobe XD/Mural/Invision/Figma to put together userflows, prototypes, wireframing, and mockups with mostly existing components built a portfolio of experience showing UX artifacts across research and architecture
  • Have 2-5 yearsโ€™ experience with user research, testing designs with end users, synthesizing data, present findings and recommendations, and finding qual/quant methods to evaluate designs
  • Understand business requirements of forms and how they will impact the UI design in the digital experience
  • Have experience working as part of an agile scrum team
  • Be very familiar with the Atlassian suite and supporting large-scale development efforts in an agile context (Kanban and Scrum)
  • Have the ability to obtain DHS Suitability

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all agile ceremonies throughout the course of two-week sprints
  • Work directly with other designers to create mockups and generate designs depicting new features and functionality for a web application portfolio
  • Attend meetings with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Participate in technical and requirements refinement meetings
