Summary

Join Avetta as a Value Engineer to build a new sales support function. You will lead the creation of value models, track value realization, and assess ROI. This role requires collaboration with various teams to quantify value and communicate it to clients. The ideal candidate has experience in value engineering for a B2B SaaS company and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) may be offered for those within commuting distance of an office; remote work may be considered for others. Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Have 5+ years of experience in value engineering or a similar role
  • Possess strong verbal, active listening, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a proven ability supporting sales teams to deliver sales and revenue outcomes
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Show proficiency with business applications including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, etc

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to create and quantify solution value propositions including risk reduction, compliance improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost reduction for prospects and customers
  • Build and maintain structured methodologies, value calculators, and economic models to quantify customer impact consistently
  • Continuously refine frameworks based on customer and stakeholder feedback, industry trends, and evolving risk management needs
  • Develop ROI models, cost-benefit analyses, and TCO assessments to justify investment in the companyโ€™s platform and services
  • Analyze customer data to assess current performance and highlight improvement areas
  • Establish benchmarks for customer performance, industry standards and best practices
  • Partner with sales teams to engage prospects, develop and present business value assessments, and tailor solutions to customer needs
  • Conduct value discovery sessions with prospects to uncover operational drivers and align solutions with their strategies and priorities
  • Work with customer success teams to enable tracking of value realization after implementation
  • Collaborate with product management and product marketing to align value engineering insights with product development priorities
  • Support marketing by contributing data-backed case studies, whitepapers, and customer success stories

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience developing and scaling a value engineering program in a high-growth SaaS businesses
  • Have experience in Contractor Management, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), or Supplier Performance Management solutions
