Vendor Compliance Intern

Summary

Join VendorPM, a rapidly growing Toronto startup, as a Part-Time Vendor Compliance Intern (French-Speaking)! This role supports our French-speaking vendor base in Quebec, assisting with compliance documentation, primarily verifying French-language Certificates of Insurance (COIs). You will provide customer support via email, phone, and chat, ensuring vendors understand and meet compliance requirements. The position is remote, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a collaborative team environment within a venture-backed firm. The ideal candidate is fluent in French and English, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills. This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with a minimum wage of $23/hour.

Requirements

• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support to French-speaking vendors through email, phone, and live chat
• Review and verify French-language Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to ensure compliance with property management requirements
• Assist vendors with understanding compliance requirements and uploading necessary documents
• Respond promptly to inquiries, troubleshooting issues related to compliance and documentation
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to improve compliance processes and vendor engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customer service or administrative support is an asset
• Familiarity with compliance processes or insurance documentation is a plus
