Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a veterinary technician
• Ability to work from home with reliable access to a functional desktop computer or laptop (Mac or PC only, chromebooks are not acceptable) that can easily handle multiple browser tabs, video/phone calls, and programs open at once, as well as high-speed internet (at least 50 mbps)
• A quiet and distraction free environment to allow you to be focused on client conversations for 10 hour shifts
• High comfort level typing, navigating multiple computer programs, and speaking on the phone
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of client communications including calls, emails, and medical record messages
• Review and discuss diagnostic results with owners
• Approve medication requisitions through online portals
• Triage patient cases and determine if clinic visits are necessary
• Route calls to clinic team members if needed
• Assist with various administrative tasks
• Utilize Zendesk and Vetspire for calls, emails & notes
• Utilize Slack to communicate with our in-clinic teams and virtual care coordinators
