Join Neo4j as our Global Vice President of Field Engineering, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. Lead a global team of 150+ in solution engineering, architecture, and professional services. Own the technical customer journey, driving successful productionization and long-term Neo4j usage. Partner with sales to accelerate revenue growth across enterprise accounts. Scale and optimize the global team, implementing best practices and creating repeatable assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, influencing product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Champion Neo4j's Cloud First and GraphRAG for GenAI vision.
Requirements
- 15+ years in technical customer-facing leadership roles, ideally in data infrastructure, cloud, or platforms
- Proven experience leading cloud transformation (e.g., migration to cloud, cloud-native GTM)
- Background with companies like MongoDB, Confluent, Elastic, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake or similar
- Strong track record of owning and driving consumption, revenue and retention metrics
- Deep technical acumen in data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems
- Operationally rigorous and data-driven with strong reporting and metric hygiene
- Inspirational leader who can scale teams while driving accountability and execution
- Highly collaborative across Sales, Product,Engineering; natural cross-functional player
- Experienced in customer success from pre-sales through long-term adoption
- Global role; can be based anywhere. Must be willing to travel frequently to meet with customers, team members, and partners
Responsibilities
- Own the technical customer journey, partnering with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Support
- Lead initiatives to drive successful productionization, data quality, and long-term usage of Neo4j in customer environments
- Own the consumption metrics especially for our Aura our managed database offering
- Define and report on technical success KPIs including GRR, deployment velocity, and solution health(DQA)
- Partner with Sales to drive revenue across enterprise and strategic accounts
- Own pre-sales architecture and technical qualification
- Carry a direct quota and drive accountability for technical pipeline influence and deal acceleration
- Lead, scale, and optimize a 150+ person global team across regions
- Increase field effectiveness and reduce cost of sale while preserving customer impact
- Cultivate a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative culture
- Implement best practices in technical discovery, value selling, POCs, and post-sales adoption
- Create repeatable assets, tools, methodologies, and enablement programs to scale field success
- Collaborate deeply with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success, and Cloud Ops
- Influence roadmap and go-to-market execution to align with field feedback and customer needs
- Champion Neo4jβs Cloud First and GraphRAG for GenAI vision across the organization
