Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in senior finance roles
- Strong understanding of franchise business models, unit economics, and multi-location financial management
- Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the finance, FP&A, and accounting functions
- Develop and implement the companyβs financial strategy
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead the FP&A function to provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations
- Work closely with the operations and franchise support teams to drive financial efficiency
- Ensure the accounting team delivers accurate and timely financial records
- Collaborate with the franchise development and operations teams to support franchisees
- Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization
- Lead capital planning and investment strategies
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Support corporate development initiatives, including evaluating potential acquisitions
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in M&A, capital raising, and managing relationships with investors is a plus
