Remote Vice President of Finance

Summary

The Vice President of Finance will oversee the company's financial operations, develop financial strategies, and work closely with senior management to support growth and profitability. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in franchise or multi-unit business models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in senior finance roles
• Strong understanding of franchise business models, unit economics, and multi-location financial management
• Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies
• Expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and budgeting with a focus on data-driven decision-making
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial compliance, and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance, FP&A, and accounting functions
• Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy
• Lead the annual budgeting process
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead the FP&A function to provide insightful analysis and actionable recommendations
• Work closely with the operations and franchise support teams to drive financial efficiency
• Ensure the accounting team delivers accurate and timely financial records
• Collaborate with the franchise development and operations teams to support franchisees
• Identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization
• Lead capital planning and investment strategies
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
• Support corporate development initiatives, including evaluating potential acquisitions
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors
