Requirements

  • Experienced product or commercial leader focused on building sophisticated and data-driven B2B software products
  • ERP expertise with demonstrated success of integrating with and growing multiple ERP partnerships
  • Extensive enterprise team management experience in a complex, matrixed software environment
  • Ability to lead complex change management and communications
  • Strong ability to inspire and coach, and a history of hiring, managing, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, building consensus across the organization and being a critical part of a leadership team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who can successfully articulate high-level strategy, as well as tactical details
  • Experience defining and executing strategic initiatives with quantified results for customers and the business through constant learning and experimentation
  • Results-proven experience working with or implementing product management and engineering best practices
  • Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to assess disparate data sources and extract meaningful, actionable strategic insights and recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Own and be accountable for the product portfolio’s roadmap, deliverables, go-to-market strategy, and P&L
  • Align global teams around a clear and compelling product vision and roadmap that inspires all key stakeholders
  • Create, lead and own the value creation plan for the products in scope
  • Maintain a competitive market overview to identify white spaces, strategic threats and opportunities
  • Develop business cases for new products, product features and enhancements
  • Develop trusted relationships with key technology and functional leaders to drive focus on the product strategy and roadmap deliverables
  • Work closely and collaboratively with marketing, sales, customer success and services to execute customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Demonstrate a metrics-driven mindset, using and generating thoughtful data analysis to inform decisions that balance the needs of the customer
  • Identify build, buy and partner opportunities and lead the related acquisition strategy
  • Enhance our product strategy by balancing business-hypothesis testing and validated learnings with a deep intuition for what is important to our customers
  • Drive the product development organization in execution of releases, ensuring we have the greatest of all possible ROIs through appropriately sized launches
  • Understand market requirements by partnering with key internal stakeholders and go-to-market team
  • Assess risks and dependencies across all the product and engineering functions and provide guidance to the Business Unit leadership
  • Plan, develop, and manage product P&L (e.g., pricing, marketing budgets, headcount), short- and long-term outcomes and business value of product portfolio including connection to roadmap, objectives and key results, and strategic investments
  • Manage across channels to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., revenue, customer experience, etc.)
  • Gather competitive, customer, market, and internal business priorities to design, develop, and continually optimize digital solutions that drive adoption, engagement, and growth across both digital and human customer interactions
  • Leverage enterprise platforms and capabilities, to improve speed to market and drive both development and ongoing support cost efficiencies e.g., provide more functionality for same investment or same amount of functionality for less investment
  • Pull from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions)
  • Align this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures
  • Understand the product technical architecture, understand the economics of technical investments, e.g., buy vs. build, total cost of ownership β€œTCO”
  • Drive product development and actively engages cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market and maximize return on spend in decision making for the product roadmap (e.g., issue resolution, MVP definition, ongoing prioritization). Prioritizes resources across developing new products and reimagining existing products
