Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Computer Science); Masterβs or advanced degree a plus
- 10-15+ years of progressive experience with a proven track record of success in product management and leadership roles with at least 8 years at a senior leadership level within a software development environment
- Expertise in working with product lifecycle management tools
- Experience transforming and leading in the B2B platform, marketplace, or managed services industries
- Strong demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex product concepts to a wide range of audiences, from technical stakeholders to executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into a comprehensive and actionable product strategy
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, where agility, adaptability, and "big picture" thinking are essential
- Ability to recruit, grow and retain multiple teams and visionary leaders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- A strategic mission-driven, positive, and results-oriented mindset
- Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the full product planning process and roadmap for the platform, working with the UX team to conduct user research and analyze market trends
- Manage and develop teams of product managers with a strong focus on creating and maintaining great talent
- Work effectively and highly efficiently with cross-functional and executive leadership teams (engineering, design, marketing, and operations) to define business needs, and design and implement user stories and various product requirements
- Partner with engineering leaders and teams to drive and ensure product features meet user needs and align with the overall product roadmap
- Conduct strategic user testing and analyze feedback to iterate on product features and improve the overall user experience
- Track team performance and goals as well as product performance, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy discussions
