Summary

Join Pax8 as the Vice President, Security Strategy, responsible for establishing and maintaining a unified security narrative across the organization. Collaborate with security experts to develop a cohesive strategy, ensuring its integration into training programs, vendor decisions, sales communications, and marketing materials. Monitor industry trends, report to senior management, and represent Pax8 at industry events. This role requires extensive security management experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to implement effective security strategies. Requirements

  • Extensive experience in security management, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices
  • Knowledge of IT MSP's and/or the Channel required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to large groups at industry events
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective security strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive security narrative that aligns with Pax8's goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with security SMEs to synthesize their perspectives into a unified security strategy
  • Ensure the security perspective is integrated into the content of the Guided Growth training program for partner enablement
  • Align vendor line card decisions with Pax8's security perspective to ensure marketplace consistency
  • Enable the sales team to understand and communicate Pax8's security strategy effectively to partners
  • Oversee the integration of the security perspective into marketing communications, conferences, podcasts, blogs, and other public-facing venues
  • Monitor and analyze security trends to ensure Pax8’s strategy stays industry leading
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of security initiatives
  • Share Pax8’s security strategy at conferences and other industry events
