Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in video editing for paid social media ads (especially Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube)
• 1+ year of experience leading or managing a creative or production team
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and other industry-standard editing tools
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance or accelerate creative workflows (and excitement to explore more)
• Strong communication and organizational skills—able to give feedback, manage timelines, and juggle priorities with ease
• Data-driven mindset with a good understanding of performance marketing KPIs
• Very good command of English (both written and verbal)
• A portfolio that shows sharp storytelling, smart pacing, and a great eye for detail

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign weekly editing tasks based on editors’ strengths, availability, and deadlines
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in priorities, team availability, or content needs
• Collaborate with the Content Creative Manager to ensure a continuous flow of high-quality UGC footage
• Explore, test, and integrate cutting-edge AI platforms to streamline editing workflows
• Review all ads produced by the team, giving clear, actionable, and constructive feedback
• Monitor ad performance (via tools like Motion) and use insights to guide future editing decisions
• Improve internal guidelines and checklists to maintain a high standard of video quality and effectiveness
• Share winning examples and creative inspiration regularly with the team
• Lead and mentor a team of 3 video editors, ensuring both their creative growth and performance development
• Conduct regular 1:1s, set clear expectations, and support career progression
• Help onboard new editors and ensure they adapt smoothly to our style and tools
• Foster a high-performance team culture that values creativity, speed, and results
• Continue producing high-performing short-form video ads for multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Participate in weekly brainstorms and contribute fresh, trend-aware creative ideas
• Stay ahead of trends, platforms, editing styles, and AI tools—and bring that energy to the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Canva, After Effects, and other video editing software
• Understanding of key performance metrics (CTR, CPC) and media buying concepts
• Strong storytelling skills and creative thinking
• Background in marketing or digital advertising
