Requirements

• A degree in film and video production or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years experience as a video editor of long-form video
• Some experience in editing vertical video
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Ability to independently create and edit video content with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Adobe Audition
• Experience with the YouTube Studio interface for video uploading, management, and analytics
• Graphic design skills to enhance video content and maintain visual consistency across projects
• Creative and problem-solving skills to innovate and address challenges encountered in video production
• Strong time management and planning skills to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently
• High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for your work, with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment
• A strong portfolio of work is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on video projects that support TechnologyAdvice’s portfolio of properties and videos from outside clients
• Edit and enhance video content to meet the high-quality standards of TechnologyAdvice
• Create compelling and visually appealing animations using After Effects
• Collaborate with the Video Content Team to execute creative tasks throughout the video production process
• Ensure seamless integration of audio and video elements during editing
• Provide guidance to content, sales, HR, audience development, and other departments on viewer experience, format, production quality, and branding consistency
• Maintain smooth and efficient production processes through the use of project management software, proactively identifying and resolving roadblocks and task dependencies
• Assist with other video and branding activities as required
