Responsibilities include assessing audio and visual quality, providing constructive feedback, collaborating with the Director of Quality, assisting in talent screening, maintaining detailed records, and participating in quality control efforts. This is a 1099 contract position requiring a commitment of 6-7 hours per week for approximately 90 days. The ideal candidate possesses experience in audio/video production or quality control, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. MasteryPrep is dedicated to creating accessible and effective test preparation materials for students.

Requirements

• Have 1-2 years of experience in audio/video production, quality control, or media evaluation
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback
• Be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be receptive to feedback

Responsibilities

• Assess the audio and visual quality of instructional videos, ensuring they meet production standards
• Provide structured feedback to improve clarity, consistency, and effectiveness
• Collaborate with the Director of Quality to refine and document video quality guidelines
• Assist in screening applications for recording talent by reviewing audition materials
• Maintain detailed records of reviews, assessments, and recommendations
• Participate in quality control efforts at multiple stages of video production
• Attend a small number of synchronous trainings to hone your skills
• Ensure all video content is engaging, accurate, and effective for student learning
