Visual Designer, Remote - Canada

Summary

The job is a 6-month contract for a Visual Designer at TRADER Corporation's AutoTrader Media business unit. The designer will create visual assets for branded content, collaborate with teams, maintain brand consistency, conduct research on design trends, and adhere to established guidelines.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 1 – 3 years of Graphic Design / Art Direction Experience
• Proficient in adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledgeable of Web Development languages HTML5, JS and CSS

Responsibilities

• Designing Branded Content
• Creating visual assets for branded content, including social media graphics, web banners, and infographics
• Collaborating with writers, marketers, and other designers to ensure visual content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals
• Assisting in client meetings and presentations to discuss visual concepts and gather feedback
• Incorporating feedback from senior designers, editors, and clients into design revisions
• Ensuring all visual content adheres to the established brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different platforms
• Conducting research on industry trends, competitor visuals, and emerging design techniques to inform and inspire design work
• Applying current design trends and best practices to create modern and engaging visuals that resonate with the target audience

Preferred Qualifications

Motion Design, Illustration and animation skills are a plus
