Visual Designer

Summary

Join Docker's remote-first team as a Visual Designer for a 6-month contract (20–30 hours/week). You will support various brand, marketing, and web initiatives, working closely with senior designers and stakeholders. This role requires strong visual design skills, proficiency in design software, and the ability to ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and a solid portfolio showcasing layout, typography, and attention to detail. Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in visual, graphic, or digital design roles
• Solid portfolio that shows strong layout, typography, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Familiarity with responsive design and web best practices
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
• A collaborative mindset and ability to manage your own time and deliverables

Responsibilities

• Design assets for marketing, web, social, events, and presentations
• Translate creative direction into high-quality visuals across multiple formats
• Contribute to landing pages and microsites alongside senior designers
• Ensure brand consistency and visual polish across all deliverables
• Help evolve and maintain our design systems and asset libraries
• Collaborate across content, marketing, and product teams to support launches and campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with motion design, presentation design (Keynote, Google Slides), or developer-facing brands
