Visual Designer

Summary

Join Proximity Labs, a global team of tech experts, as a Visual/Graphic Designer to lead all visual communication. You will maintain brand consistency, brainstorm creative ideas, design engaging visuals for social media and websites, and create in-house communication materials. Occasionally, you'll contribute to client projects. This role requires a strong portfolio, excellent design skills, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and an understanding of internet trends. Requirements

• Have a strong portfolio of your visual design work
• Possess excellent graphic design, layout, and typography skills
• Have strong illustration skills with the ability to adapt and create various styles
• Possess strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Have an innate understanding of internet trends and pop culture
• Have a quick, curious, creative mind
• Maintain high standards for the work you produce

Responsibilities

• Maintain and communicate a consistent brand online
• Take a creative brief, brainstorm for ideas, and come up with detailed concepts to present to the team
• Come up with visually engaging, conceptually sound, on-brand visuals to post on our social media accounts and blogs
• Create intelligent, engaging visuals and illustrations for our websites
• Design in-house communication and merchandise
• Apply these skills to client projects when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Be skilled with Procreate
• Have intermediate motion design skills and some familiarity with After Effects
