Visual Designer

Summary

Join Sonar's Corporate Marketing Team as a creative Visual Designer to contribute to the growth of the Sonar brand and support marketing efforts. You will create engaging digital and print assets, craft visual experiences for key audiences, and further define the Sonar brand identity. Daily tasks involve designing marketing campaign assets, event collateral, branded imagery, and supporting visuals for blog and social media posts. You will also templatize brand assets for internal use and design branded promotional items. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in design, fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud, experience using AI for design, and strong communication skills. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a design capacity at a creative agency or working with an in-house marketing team
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premier and Figma
• Experience using AI to scale your efforts and assist in the creation of high quality deliverables
• Understanding of print processes
• Strong communication and listening skills
• An open-minded and positive can-do attitude
• Adept at translating unique messages into visual media on a variety of platforms
• Capable of managing multiple complex projects - scopes and timelines
• Ability to support context-switching
• Team player, receiving and giving feedback as well as sharing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Create assets to be used both internally and externally to contribute to marketing efforts as well as the growth of the Sonar brand
• Help craft end-to-end visual experiences for our key audiences across key assets
• Further define, reinforce, and evangelize the Sonar brand identity
• Develop engaging assets for digital marketing campaigns to support the demand generation squad
• Work closely with our Events Marketing Manager to design branded event collateral such as booth designs and promotional items
• Support in the creation of branded imagery and iconography for Sonar’s web properties
• Work with content creators to design supporting visuals to accompany blog and social media posts
• Templatize commonly used brand assets for internal team use
• Design branded promo items such as t-shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers and more
