Join IOHK as the Vice President of Finance, a strategic leadership role overseeing the organization's financial health and growth. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets, financial planning, and team leadership
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a focus on influencing stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- High integrity, with a commitment to ethical financial practices
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companyโs long-term goals
- Partner with executive leadership to provide actionable insights for business growth, cost optimization, and risk management
- Evaluate and refine financial policies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Present comprehensive financial reports to the executive team and board of directors
- Supervise accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory standards
- Optimize cash flow, investment strategies, and capital structure to support business needs
- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance requirements
- Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the finance department
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for finance staff
- Support business expansion strategies, including M&A due diligence and integration
- Evaluate investment opportunities and advise on financial implications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new ventures and initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification
