Summary
Join Fundraise Up as a leader of the Presales and Implementation teams, driving scalable growth and overseeing all presales and onboarding activities. You will manage a team of 15, growing to 25 by year's end, navigating complex deals, mentoring team members, and collaborating with various departments. The role involves managing key performance indicators (KPIs), improving processes, and building strong customer relationships. You will report directly to the CCO and work with sales management and other leaders to manage risk and strategic priorities. This remote position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10+ years of experience in implementations, solution engineering, technical sales, or similar roles in SaaS environments
- Proven technical skills in web infrastructure, web analytics, and data management
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and front-end website development (HTML/CSS)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, hyper-growth startup environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor both U.S. and international team members in presales and implementation activities
- Recruit, train, and support team members to optimize performance and customer satisfaction
- Actively manage and support complex, high-value deals by removing blockers and ensuring adherence to timelines
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support teams to drive revenue growth and deliver successful project outcomes
- Effectively collaborate with the product team leveraging our uniform platform, minimize customizations, and build a robust customer <> product feedback loop
- Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team
- Focus on continuous process and tools improvement to streamline operations and minimize the need for customizations
- Oversee RFP responses and ensure a strong customer feedback loop feeds into product enhancements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Work directly with Sales Management, the Chief Customer Officer, and other leaders to manage risk and align on strategic priorities
- Dive into high-pressure situations to negotiate, troubleshoot, and resolve challenges both internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit, NPO technology, or agency settings is a strong plus
- Experience with international team management, particularly with teams in Eastern Europe is advantageous
