VP of Supply Chain

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies that drive operational efficiency
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor others
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of managing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s mission and growth objectives
• Lead procurement activities to establish partnerships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
• Oversee inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory
• Enhance logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
• Implement supply chain best practices, including process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure supply chain performance, facilitating data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across the organization
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the supply chain

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain management is a plus
