Summary

The job is for a Billing and Payroll Specialist at Compound Planning, a high growth digital family office. The role involves managing revenue calculations, collections, and payouts, coordinating with the advisory team, processing multiple payrolls, and managing relationships with third-party accounting teams.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial matters
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Basic formulas, Lookups, Pivot Tables)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounting, payroll, and banking software (Rippling/Mercury)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Advisors and Operations on billing setups
• Execute monthly and quarterly bill runs, ensuring accuracy
• Calculate and process advisor payouts
• Coordinate fee billing reviews with the advisory team
• Prepare and process multiple payrolls and payroll corrections
• Manage the relationship with our third-party accounting team
• Process expense reimbursements for employee expenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Orion, Schwab, and Fidelity is preferred
• Strong orientation toward following established processes and procedures
