Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of hands-on web design experience
  • Know Figma like the back of your handโ€”including Auto Layout, components, and prototyping
  • Can showcase a portfolio of 20โ€“25 clean, high-conversion websites
  • Have solid knowledge of U.S. design trends and business website expectations
  • Understand the nuances of responsive, mobile-first design
  • Can explain your design decisions and adapt to constructive critique
  • Manage time well in a high-output environment without compromising detail

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging, modern, and intuitive websites for small businesses across various industries
  • Work in Figma to create wireframes, mockups, components, and prototypes
  • Use layout principles, color theory, and typography to ensure every site is visually consistent and brand-aligned
  • Translate business needs into functional layouts that make sense to real users
  • Hit high-volume targets (~100 designs/month) without compromising quality
  • Apply your knowledge of the U.S. digital market to keep designs locally relevant
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, adapting quickly to feedback and changes

  • Love designing websites that balance beauty and usability
  • Think in layouts, flows, and pixels
  • Can quickly switch between industries and brand styles (think law firms one hour, yoga studios the next)
  • Have a strong grip on Figma, Auto Layouts, and rapid prototyping
