Requirements

• Strong experience with WordPress, specifically in developing with the Gutenberg block editor, along with ACF-powered blocks
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience in creating custom Gutenberg blocks and extending the block editor
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
• Understanding of REST API integrations and AJAX
• Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working WordPress pages
• Familiarity with website optimization tools and SEO principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites to ensure high performance and responsive design
• Customize and extend the Gutenberg block editor to meet the specific needs of our projects.(ACF and Native blocks) – We also utilize Tailwind CSS
• Optimize website performance and ensure compliance with SEO best practices
• Collaborate with the design and content teams to implement creative and technical web solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and the Gutenberg editor
• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in WordPress and web development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other page builders like Webflow and Elementor
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as React or Vue.js
• Experience with Git version control and workflow management tools
• Previous work in a collaborative team environment using Agile methodologies
