Join Exely, a global IT company specializing in online solutions for the hotel industry, and contribute to enhancing our clients' websites. We're building a booking engine module to drive direct sales for hotels by optimizing their websites, conducting audits, and improving search engine rankings. This role focuses on improving website performance and SEO to increase direct bookings. We seek a skilled website developer proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP with experience in CMS. Your work will directly impact hotel direct sales, aligning with our mission to improve hotel profitability. The position is remote with a competitive salary, bonuses, and benefits.

Requirements

  • Possess strong knowledge and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
  • Have experience with cross-browser, adaptive, and semantic HTML and CSS markup. Knowledge of CSS preprocessors
  • Be proficient in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and event handling. Basic knowledge of working with libraries
  • Have experience in object-oriented programming with PHP and the ability to write simple SQL queries
  • Be familiar with popular CMS like WordPress and Joomla
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English (B2 level or higher), fluent Russian (C1 or higher)
  • Be present in a time zone UTC +1/+2/+3/+4/+5

Responsibilities

  • Audit clients' (hotels) websites to provide recommendations and implement solutions that improve indexing and boost search engine rankings
  • Optimize website speed for both desktop and mobile versions
  • Work with website code: internal linking, meta tags, and modifying the structure of pages/sections
  • Create and optimize Google Business Profile and other SEO tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Yii Framework, or Symfony) and understanding of MVC architecture
  • Have experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and the ability to develop components
