Summary

LAC Federal is seeking a highly experienced Web Developer to support federal agency infrastructure, develop new technologies, create web applications, design and implement intranets, maintain existing web applications, conduct comprehensive testing, and optimize user experience. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has 9-14 years of experience in web development, proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, strong understanding of database management and integration, experience in intranet development and maintenance, excellent testing and debugging skills, ability to design user-friendly interfaces, and effective communication skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in a relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing web applications, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems and infrastructure
  • Perform comprehensive testing of web applications, including unit and system testing, and engage users in acceptance testing to ensure functionality meets requirements
  • Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces to optimize ease of use for internal and external users
  • Develop database-driven web interfaces to enable rapid, real-time information sharing across the organization
  • Create external web portals to allow users to input and retrieve accurate information, enhancing communication and collaboration
