Web Developer

Requirements

• At least 1 year of proven experience as a Web Developer or in a relevant role
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in Web Development or related field, or relevant experience
• Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Proficient in MySQL
• Dedicated team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Solid ability in both written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology
• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them
• A high degree of independent judgment
• Able to solve complex problems
• Reside outside of the United States and should not hold U.S. residency or citizenship

Responsibilities

• Code, design, and lay out websites according to company specifications
• Direct and perform website updates
• Develop and validate test routines and schedules to ensure test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser device types
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery
• Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correct or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction
• Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Headset: USB headset with noise cancellation
• Webcam: Working webcam
• Computers: Primary and backup computer with at least i5 to i7 processor and 8GB RAM
• Internet: Main internet service speed of at least 25 Mbps wired connection; backup internet speed of at least 10 Mbps
