Summary
Join a leading church-focused website builder company as a Web Designer and create visually appealing and functional websites for church communities. This fully remote position (Manila, PH time) offers a salary of 1400-1800 USD/month. You will utilize your WordPress and CSS expertise to design, develop, and maintain websites, collaborating with clients and the graphic design team. The role requires proficiency in WordPress and CSS, a strong portfolio, and excellent communication skills. Experience with churches is preferred but not required. Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet is necessary for remote work.
Requirements
- Proficiency in WordPress and CSS is required
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into functional design solutions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines
- Continual learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and technologies
- Access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer with necessary software for web design tasks
- High-speed internet connection for remote collaboration and project management
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in WordPress to design, develop, and maintain websites tailored to the unique needs of churches
- Customize themes and plugins to align with clients' visions and requirements
- Apply CSS skills to enhance the visual appeal and user experience of websites
- Implement custom styles, layouts, and animations to create modern and responsive designs
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to seamlessly integrate visual elements like logos and banners into website layouts
- Ensure consistency in branding and aesthetics across all web pages
- Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide guidance based on best practices in web design and user experience
- Maintain open communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure websites function flawlessly across devices and browsers
- Address any issues promptly to deliver high-quality end products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working with churches is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with web development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma is a plus
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation is an advantage, but is not required
