Requirements

• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end WordPress development
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Ability to discern customization needs and prioritise native WordPress features
• Be discerning in selecting software products and plugins, avoiding unnecessary complexity
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using Block Themes and essential plugins
• Ensure the functionality and performance of websites for clients enrolled in our care plan
• Implement design elements and uphold visual consistency across websites
• Collaborate with the design team on client website projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or challenges that arise
• Optimise websites for SEO and performance
• Create and maintain documentation outlining website development processes
• Stay informed about the latest WordPress updates and best practices
• Assist in resolving support tickets for clients in HelpScout

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SEO optimization
• Previous work experience in a small agency environment
