Requirements

• Be proficient in HTML5 and CSS3
• Be proficient in PHP for WordPress theme and plugin customizations
• Understand WordPress coding standards
• Have exposure to FIGMA to PSD conversion
• Have experience with WordPress theme and plugin customizations
• Be familiar with WordPress core functions and hooks
• Have experience in creating responsive and adaptive designs
• Be proficient with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
• Be proficient in Git for version control and collaboration
• Have a strong understanding of user interface and user experience design principles
• Be familiar with design tools like Figma
• Have strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting issues
• Be familiar with testing tools and methods

Responsibilities

• Create and implement visually appealing, responsive, and high-performing WordPress websites
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver exceptional digital experiences
• Convert design mockups and wireframes into functional websites
• Optimize website speed and performance (Web Core Vitals)
• Debug and troubleshoot issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of caching mechanisms and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
• Know SEO best practices / On-page and Off-page
• Have knowledge of WordPress REST API
• Be familiar with front-end libraries and frameworks like jQuery, or React
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills
• Have creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
