Requirements

• Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2 level) and the ability to communicate directly with clients during online meetings
• Be available for at least 20 hours per week to contribute to our projects
• Demonstrate strong programming skills and understanding of general principles (DRY, abstraction, KISS, code refactoring, optimization, security, best practices, etc.)
• Possess expert knowledge of WordPress and Codex
• Be able to write WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
• Have very good knowledge of WordPress customization
• Have perfect knowledge of PHP and OOP principles
• Possess excellent knowledge of JavaScript (incl. ES6+)
• Have perfect knowledge of modern front-end development: HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, Performance Optimization, Accessibility
• Possess good knowledge of CSS preprocessors: SCSS is preferred
• Have good knowledge of Git version control system and deployment workflows
• Be able to work with the command line
• Demonstrate pixel precision and a basic aesthetic sense

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with ReactJs / NextJs and Headless WordPress
• Have very good knowledge of the Advanced Custom Fields plugin
• Have good knowledge of WooCommerce
• Be able to create custom Gutenberg blocks
• Have experience with WordPress Full Site Editing
• Have experience with PHP Frameworks like Symfony or Laravel
• Have experience with libraries and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind
• Have experience with CSS / Javascript animations
