Requirements
- 2 years of Workday specific experience with integrations and reporting
- Integrations experience with Web Services and APIs, particularly SOAP and Rest API, Workday Studio, Enterprise Integration Builder, Core Connectors & Document Transformation, XSLT, Business Processes
- Reporting experience with Advanced, Composite and Matrix Reporting, Calculated Fields, BIRT, Workday Docs
- Workday Security experience - user management, user groups, roles, ISSGs, domains etc
- Detailed understanding of Workday reporting processes and best practices e.g. naming conventions, migration practices
- Understanding of the Workday business object model in Finance and HCM. Functional Workday knowledge in Finance and HCM would be an advantage
- Solid problem-solving and technical skills with high attention to detail
- Experience documenting integration and reporting design
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with stakeholders
- Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences (technical, engineering, business)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and 3rd party applications using various tools
- Create and maintain custom reports using Advanced, Matrix and Composite report types, as well as Calculated Fields. Build report layouts using BIRT, Workday Docs
- Create and maintain documentation relating to technical specification/design, build and unit testing
- Workday user administration
- Monitor and resolve integration and technical issues related to Workday
- Act as an escalation point for Workday configuration issues raised by end-users
- Maintain awareness of current trends in technology and available or upcoming Workday features
- Partner with Business and Tech teams to evaluate regular feature releases, carry out impact analysis, and deliver required mitigations
- Design and operate processes, according to our standards and procedures, to keep our environment in healthy shape and compliant with needed control frameworks for data integrity and security
- Provide timely work updates on Jira or other work management tool(s)
- Be part of operations on-call support team
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-starter, independent, team player, and proactive
- Strong attention to detail and a measured sense of urgency
- Workday certifications are strongly preferred
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, Confluence, Lucid (or equivalent visualization/process mapping tool), Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Google apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets), Slack
