Summary

Join Incubane, a tech-driven team enhancing Workday with Extend services, as an experienced Workday Extend Developer. You will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying Workday Extend applications, collaborating with clients and internal teams. This role requires hands-on involvement in all development lifecycle stages, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support. You will build strong client relationships, ensuring solutions align with business needs. The position is remote, requiring excellent communication and time management skills. Experience with Workday Extend, Built on Workday, and web services technologies is essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Requirements

  • Experience with working with web services technologies (SOAP, REST)
  • Good knowledge in object oriented programming language
  • Good understanding of cloud computing
  • Good customer focus with some experience in consulting
  • Understanding of Agile delivery approach
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Capability of working with remote Teams and alongside Customers
  • Aware of the important of the confidentiality and nondisclosure policies
  • English B2 proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
  • Workday HCM / FIN / Extend experience
  • IT Consulting experience
  • Web development experience

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the end-to-end development of Workday Extend applications across client projects
  • Collaborating with customers and internal teams to gather, refine, and document business requirements
  • Designing, building, and deploying custom applications using Workday Extend and Built on Workday technologies
  • Supporting existing applications and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Developing deep knowledge of Workday Extend and its integration with core HCM/Financials modules
  • Building strong relationships with clients to ensure delivered solutions are aligned with business needs and commercially viable
  • Contributing to team knowledge sharing and best practices, while escalating complex issues when appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams
  • Explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms
  • Align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality
  • Proactively drive process improvements
  • Comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team
