Summary

Join Devoteam, a leading European consultancy focused on digital strategy and technology, as a Google Workspace Deployment/ Support Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting Google Workspace solutions for the organization and clients. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing Google Workspace deployments and migrations, providing technical support and troubleshooting, developing best practices for administration and security, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating documentation, conducting user training, monitoring system performance, staying up-to-date with the latest features, and assisting in developing automation scripts. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from Spain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Google Workspace Administrator certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hiring
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or similar role
  • Proven experience with Google Workspace deployment, migration, and administration
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
  • Experience with API integration and automation
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage Google Workspace deployments and migrations
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Google Workspace applications and services
  • Develop and implement best practices for Google Workspace administration and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Google Workspace with existing IT infrastructure
  • Create and maintain documentation for Google Workspace processes and procedures
  • Conduct user training sessions and create educational materials on Google Workspace features
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Workspace features and updates
  • Assist in developing automation scripts and integrations using APIs to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with change management and user training is a plus
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is beneficial
