Summary

Join WEBTOON as a 2D Animator and Content Creator, collaborate with the Marketing, Advertising, and Content Publishing teams to create engaging animated content for social media. Requires 4+ years of professional animation production experience, strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, and proficiency in After Effects and other Adobe Suite products.

Requirements

• You must include a portfolio of professional 2D animation work to be considered for this role
• 4+ years of professional experience in animation production

Responsibilities

• Partner with copywriters, visual designers and art directors to create fun, compelling, and sometimes socially native animated content promoting WEBTOON’s exciting library of webcomics
• Be equally comfortable collaborating with others and running your own projects end-to-end
• Elevate WEBTOON’s characters and series with breakthrough animation treatments that are relevant, on-trend, and resonate with digital natives
• Work efficiently, maintaining high animation quality while adapting to the fast pace of social media when the project demands
• Understand digital and social products and placements and make channel-specific creative content that embodies best practices for each platform
• Stay on top of industry animation/advertising trends, as well as WEBTOON fan culture
• Work with the Project Manager so that deliverables and deadlines are met within budget

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in creating advertising for entertainment is a plus, but not a requirement
• After Effects user with proficiency in other Adobe Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or other professional VFX or animation software
