3D Hard-surface Artist

Summary

Join Sperasoft as a talented 3D Props Artist to contribute to a AAA+ stylized game project. You will develop, maintain, and create high-poly models and real-time game assets, primarily hard-surface, meeting or exceeding project and studio standards. Collaborate with Lead Artists for timely asset completion, communicate regularly on task status, and seek guidance as needed. Continuously refine artistic skills and adapt to new software and tools. Foster a positive team environment. This role requires 2+ years of experience as a 3D Props Artist, proficiency in 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop (or equivalents), and a strong understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in modeling. Experience with Unreal Engine and managing polygon counts and texture budgets is essential. Excellent communication and sculpting skills are also needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of working experience as a 3D Props Artist
• Solid experience in modeling, sculpting and texturing environment components using 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop (or equivalent packages) shown in portfolio
• Ability to create interesting, detailed and visually appealing props
• Be proficient with the software packages and tools of the games industry
• Experience with Unreal Engine
• Excellent understanding of form, shape, structure and silhouette with regard to modeling
• Experience with managing polygon count and texture budgets
• Sculpting skills
• Ability to receive constructive feedback
• Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
• Good English communication and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and create both: high polygonal models and real-time game assets (mainly hard-surface) matching (or exceeding) project and studio standards
• Work with Lead Artists to ensure timely completion of game assets
• Communicate regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
• Obtain Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
• Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
• Contribute to the team-oriented environment
