Summary

Join nTop as an Academic Program Manager to drive the adoption of our innovative software within the academic community. This pivotal role involves developing and executing strategies to expand our presence in academic institutions globally. You will build strong partnerships, create training materials, and provide technical guidance to students and educators. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align academic programs with business goals. This role can be remote or based in our New York office and reports to the Director, Product Support. You will play a key role in shaping the future of engineering by equipping students and researchers with cutting-edge tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, education, or customer engagement roles, ideally in the software or engineering sectors
  • A self-starter with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for education and advancing the engineering profession
  • Ability/ excitement to travel to our headquarters and universities (10% travel)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Academic Strategies: Design and implement strategies to expand nTop’s presence in academic institutions and training programs worldwide
  • Technical Support & Guidance: Provide technical guidance to students using nTop for projects, competitions, and research
  • Create Content: Create training course content and other educational and promotional materials
  • Build Partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with universities, colleges, research institutions, and training organizations to promote adopting nTop's solutions
  • Program Promotion and Outreach: Drive awareness and engagement for nTop’s academic initiatives through targeted campaigns, events, and direct stakeholder outreach
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product, and engineering, to provide feedback on features and tools, align academic programs with business goals, and ensure seamless resource delivery
  • Organize Events: Organize workshops, webinars, and other events to showcase the application of our software in engineering education
  • Advocate for Academic Users: Act as the voice of educators, students, and researchers within nTop, advocating for features and programs that meet their unique needs
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program adoption, engagement, and satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve impact
  • Stay current: Stay informed about engineering education and technology trends to improve the program continuously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, CAE)
  • Experience developing curriculum or instructional materials

Benefits

  • Compensation: $115,000-125,000 annually, depending on experience
