Join Turing's internal AI Prototyping team as a Program Manager - AI and become the operational backbone, ensuring seamless execution across various AI projects. You will manage the project backlog, coordinate resources, facilitate team meetings, and create efficient workflows. This role also involves strategic support for Product Managers and technologists through market research and trend analysis to inform prototyping decisions. You will investigate existing solutions, identify market trends, and collaborate with Product Managers to shape solution hypotheses. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of program/project management experience in a tech setting, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a tech or innovation lab setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
- Proven experience conducting competitive research, technical landscape assessments, or trend analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain the master prototyping backlog and roadmap, ensuring priorities reflect evolving business needs and requests from Turing Intelligence (TI) leadership
- Coordinate resourcing and workload across pods (PMs, developers, design technologists), keeping clear visibility into βwhoβs working on what.β
- Facilitate team standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as needed to keep projects on track
- Create and manage lightweight but effective workflows for intake, scoping, and delivery of prototype work
- Track milestones and outcomes across projects and communicate updates clearly to R&D and Ti stakeholders
- Support the LaunchPad program by coordinating sessions, gathering feedback, and helping onboard new talent into prototype teams
- Partner with R&D operations or finance as needed for light-touch support around budget tracking, tooling access, and vendor onboarding
- Track and report on key metrics of success for the Prototyping group (e.g., throughput, proposal support, internal tool impact)
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase the velocity and quality of prototype delivery
- Investigate existing products and solutions for each new prototype request to inform build vs. buy recommendations
- Identify relevant market trends, emerging technologies, or tools that may enhance or replace internal development efforts
- Collaborate with Product Managers to shape solution hypotheses, drawing from competitive analysis, industry publications, open-source tools, and academic research
- Maintain a shared knowledge base of external tools, platforms, and case studies relevant to AI-driven enterprise solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies or experience working in a technical R&D environment is a plus
