Summary

Join Accelecom as a full-time Account Director to focus on selling to the Georgia State Gov’t & Education (SLED) vertical. This role demands a consultative selling approach, superior customer service, and the ability to solve business problems for clients. You will identify, develop, and close new business while managing and expanding existing accounts. Deep understanding of customer needs and crafting unique solutions are crucial. The position involves developing and executing sales strategies across various sectors within the SLED vertical, including local governments, universities, colleges, primary/secondary educational systems, and libraries. Success requires a hunter mindset, strong analytical and technical skills, and proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. The role offers a remote work environment with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Formulation & execution of robust Vertical GTM & Account Plans
  • Development & execution of Customer Contact Plans
  • Identification & execution of upsell & cross-sell strategies
  • Transport solutions (Dark Fiber, Wavelengths & Ethernet)
  • IP solutions (IP Transit, DIA & DDoS)
  • Managed Services Solutions (Mng Firewall/Router/WiFi & SD-WAN)
  • Voice Solutions (UCaaS & CCaaS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of selling in the Georgia State Gov’t & Education Vertical
  • Minimum of 3 years of Telecom, Data Center or IT sales experience
  • Minimum of 1 year selling into the local Government Vertical
  • Minimum of 1 year selling into the K-12 Vertical
  • Minimum of 1 year selling into the Library Vertical
  • Minimum of 1 year selling into the Private & Public Universities
  • Minimum of 1 year selling intoTechnical Colleges
  • Knowledge of BANT, TAS and/or the Challenger Sales methodologies
  • Prior experience w/ Salesforce & the Microsoft Suite
